What a blow. Chris Cornell, lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave, and solo artist, dead at 52.
I’ve been a huge Soundgarden/Audioslave fan since the early 90’s (wow, I feel old), when I saw their video clip for Jesus Christ Pose on Rage. The guitar was raw, the drums were thumping, and Chris’s vocals carried it directly into my heart.
Soundgarden were the headliners of one of the first concerts I saw, along with Jebediah and You Am I. It was amazing, and the experience will always stick with me.
Rock on, Chris. I hope you’ve finally at peace.

Today is April Fool’s Day. Here’s a roundup of the pranks I’ve found this year:
Peter Norvig, Director of Research at Google, has published his solutions for Advent of Code 2016.
They are available here.
It’s been just over a month since the end of Advent Of Code 2016, and I’d like to jot down some final thoughts:
I’m afraid I don’t have solutions for Advent of Code days 23-25. Given that I’m writing this in early January, I don’t think it’s likely that I’ll get to them any time soon.
This year, I’m posting my solutions to the puzzles in the Advent of Code.
